Head of Inorganic Growth

We are looking for a dynamic executive to lead our in-house Corporate M&A team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Execute M&A and corporate development strategies to support Vodacom's growth objectives.
- Evaluate merger and acquisition opportunities based on criteria such as targeted countries or regions, potential revenue, size of economy, etc., focusing on Rest of Africa.
- Liaise with Vodafone M&A business heads, internal technical specialists, and local company/operating company business line leaders as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date valuation scenario analysis on specific M&A targets and build knowledge management systems to track other transactions in the sector or valuation multiples of other companies in the sector.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CA (SA), or CFA.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a financial, corporate finance, investment banking, financial services, or corporate law role.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
