Career Opportunity: Laboratory Systems Coordinator
  • Execute routine administrative functions on the Laboratory Information Management System (SLIMS).
  • Gather analytical worksheets from laboratory personnel on a daily basis, document analytical outcomes, and maintain monthly summary reports.
  • Manage sample intake and create Job Sheets within SLIMS.
  • Verify jobs in SLIMS and liaise with technical approvers and the Quality Coordinator.
  • Comply with the quality and safety protocols of the SGS management framework.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Completion of Grade 12 with a background in Mathematics and Science.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SLIMS.
  • Excellent communication skills, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Reliable, capable of working under pressure, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and fluent in English (both spoken and written).
