VMware Engineer Job Description

At HR Genie, we're seeking a skilled VMware Engineer to design and implement robust VMWARE infrastructure for our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining VMWARE environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement VMWARE infrastructure solutions that meet client needs
  • Monitor and maintain VMWARE environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMWARE infrastructure
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical recommendations
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless integration of VMWARE infrastructure with other systems
  • Stay updated with the latest VMWARE technologies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to VMWARE infrastructure and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7 years of experience as a VMWARE Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of VMWARE virtualization technologies and products
  • A VCAP certification
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing large and complex VMware environments
  • Experience with VMWARE vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
  • Knowledge of server hardware and storage technologies
