We are Time Personnel, a leading recruitment agency providing expert staffing solutions to businesses across various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team as a Sales Representative for Kitchen Hardware in Ottery, Cape Town.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in sales calling on various hardware stores, construction & building developers, and contractors aligned to their current and future developments. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, establishing new accounts, and communicating new products and information to help address their current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain communication and excellent service with the existing client base by calling on them on a weekly basis.
- Establish new accounts by planning regular visits to potential clients, closely monitoring new account growth.
- Communicate new products, information or feedback to clients to help address their current and future needs.
- Attend / assist clients with price queries and negotiate prices within the parameters as set by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a matric certificate (preferably with mathematics).
- 3-5 years sales experience (preferably in hardware / construction or similar industry).
- Additional business qualifications would be beneficial.
- Telephone, Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
- Computer Literate in Excel and Pastel.
- Technical Product Knowledge (Hardware).
