IT Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator I (Asset Manager) to join our team at iOCO Infrastructure Services. As an Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all technology components, including hardware, software, networks, and databases, are operating efficiently and securely to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance and Accuracy Reports: Generate comprehensive reports by analyzing relevant data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current software and hardware assets.
- Software Consumption and Entitlements: Regularly monitor software usage against entitlements, identifying potential risks related to under or over-licensing.
- Communication of Risks and Remediation Plans: Communicate identified risks promptly to relevant stakeholders, proposing and contributing to the development of remediation plans.
- Asset Management Process Development: Provide insights and suggestions for improving the asset management process, participating in discussions and contributing ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Procedural Documentation: Develop accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable procedural documentation and work instructions, assisting in training others on asset management processes and procedures.
- Hardware Fields: Regularly update hardware information in the asset management system, ensuring accuracy and reflecting current inventory.
- Financial Risk Escalation: Recognize risks that could have financial implications for the organization, escalating such risks promptly to management or relevant stakeholders.
- 5 years' experience as a Software/Hardware Asset Management and CMDB maintenance
- Extended experience in Software asset management, compliance assessment, and monitoring of application consumption
- Extended experience in Asset management
- Grade 12
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
- CSAM (Certified in Software Asset Management)
- ITIL Practitioner or Higher Certificate
