Relationship Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve net income return for the business as defined in the financial performance report.
- Drive an increase in average balance of specific portfolio of assets and liabilities.
- Deliver exceptional service through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Manage existing clients and grow portfolio through making contact and generating leads.
- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices.
- Manage the growth of active customer account base to increase client base.
- Maximise business portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Manage the migration of accounts from transactional to self-service.
- Define a sales portfolio growth strategy in line with predetermined growth targets.
- Ensure effective data management by attending to expired limits against set targets.
- Prepare credit proposals for review by the credit product house.
- Monitor and evaluate the organisation's success in managing its legal and compliance risks.
- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies.
- Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team.
Requirements
- NQF level 5 qualification or degree (preference).
- A minimum of 3-5 years within home loans sales environment, with a good knowledge of the residential lending environment and an understanding of the credit environment that impacts residential lending.
