Key Responsibilities
  1. Reporting and Compliance: Manage the reporting process, ensuring timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, while maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models, performing variance analysis to optimize performance.
  3. Financial Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct thorough financial analyses, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
  4. Cost Control and Efficiency: Monitor and control production costs, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  5. Inventory Management: Ensure accurate costing of inventory and maintenance of Bills of Materials.
  6. Working Capital Management: Optimize working capital, including accounts payable, inventory, and accounts receivable.
  7. Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to all SA legislative requirements, including SARS regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • CA(SA) or CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial management within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, with Sage X3 being beneficial.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills, with ability to manage and develop a team.
