Job Description:

In this exciting role with Code Red Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to work as a Transportation Risk Consultant, helping businesses navigate the complexities of logistics and transportation.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of products and services.
  • You will create and conduct effective proposal presentations that identify prospects' business problems, the effects of the problems, and the solutions to their problems.
  • Ensure complete understanding of pricing and proposal models, manage assigned clients post sales, track, analyse, report on, and optimise client potential.
  • Provide system training to clients on the application and implementation of products and services sold, develop annual business plan in conjunction with Management.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
  • Maximise all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share.
  • Sell consultatively, and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers.
  • Relate understanding/knowledge of risk mitigation and provide advice on risk-related issues within client's organisation for which products and services provide a possible solution.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed, source and develop client relationships and referrals.
  • Identify and build effective Centres of Influence Network with other professionals to maximise revenue.
  • Gather, submit detailed business information for proposal, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Strong customer focus and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent ability engaging and communicating (verbal, written and presentation) within all levels of an organisation.
  • Great organisational skills for managing client expectations and delivering product information in a concise manner.
  • Strength in working with businesses and can understand their needs and constraints. Proficient in understanding of latest technology.
  • Ability to represent the company in a positive, confident, and professional manner.
  • Experience in Marketing & Sales / Client Success / Experience / retention.
  • Experience within Logistic / Transport industries highly preferred.
  • Good Leadership, organisational and managerial experience.
  • Assertive, persuasive, and persistent but still a great listener.
  • Have an open and engaging personality, and a creative mind.
  • Quick on your feet in adapting your pitch to your prospect's needs.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Be able handle objections well and are self-motivated and able to focus on primary tasks and avoid distractions.
  • Excellent time management and relationship skills.
  • Ability to facilitate creative solutions with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
