About the Role:

The Domestic Abuse Specialist will be responsible for delivering professional advice, information, and support to survivors of domestic abuse, assessing risk and managing it as part of a multi-agency risk management strategy. They will also provide face-to-face and telephone support, carrying a caseload and offering a duty advice service as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and risk evaluations to identify areas of concern
  • Develop and implement safety plans to protect survivors from harm
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure comprehensive support and referrals
  • Provide advocacy services to help survivors access justice and resources
