We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fund Accountant to join our team at Top Vitae Recruitment. As a Junior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for processing client transactions, assisting clients with queries, and performing due diligence and FICA checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing client transactions within each Unit Trust
  • Assisting clients with queries relating to their transactions and balances
  • Performing due diligence and FICA checks on clients
  • Compiling daily valuation reports for each unit trust
  • Holdings reports
  • Performance contribution reports
  • Price movement reports
  • Assisting with monthly and Quarterly reporting on holdings to various regulatory bodies
  • Assisting with distribution of income within unit trusts to investors
Requirements:
  • Matriculation
  • BCom in Accounting
  • Degree with a focus on Accounting
  • Advantageous: exposure to IT/coding
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in accounting/coding
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Preferable: exposure to working with SQL or other code
  • Preferable: exposure to Google Suite products (sheets, docs, cloud storage, etc)
Skills and Traits:
