We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in providing exceptional services to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a BCom degree and 5+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping/managing finance teams. They will be proficient in Xero, Sage or other accounting software, Excel (intermediate to advanced), and Outlook.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of junior accountants and bookkeepers
- Coordinating with head-office and clients to troubleshoot processing issues and provide systems support
- Recruiting and managing team members, including performance and KPA management
- Ensuring data is correctly processed according to strict requirements
- Providing accounting support and management, including monthly bookkeeping review and support, journal adjustments, reconciliations, and tax computations
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing priorities.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement after an initial training period, with flexible hours during off-peak periods.
