The Head of Facilities Management plays a critical role in ensuring that our facilities meet the needs of our tenants and employees while supporting our business objectives. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, operations, soft services, OHS, and CAPEX projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all facilities, including preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
- Manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead a team of facilities management professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement risk management programs and strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Manage contracts and vendors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Level 6 - Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or building science.
- 10 or more years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
- Experience in operations management and financial management.
- Professional certifications in facilities management are a plus.
