This role requires a talented individual who can design and implement machine learning models that drive business value. You will work closely with Data Scientists and Decision Scientists to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions. Your contributions will be crucial in positioning Capitec as a leader in the banking industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models that drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the bank's operations
  • Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines using big data frameworks
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in any engineering role
  • Honors degree or higher in any field
  • Python and SQL experience
  • PySpark
  • Big data frameworks – Hadoop/Kafka
  • Github experience or Git
