About the Role:

As a Predictive Model Architect at Capitec Bank Ltd., you'll have the opportunity to design and develop innovative predictive models that drive business growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets, and you'll use this information to inform business decisions.

This role requires a deep understanding of predictive modeling concepts, as well as expertise in modern software development best practices and big data processing frameworks. You'll work extensively with Python, SQL, and advanced debugging techniques to ensure the delivery of high-quality predictive models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative predictive models
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets
  • Inform business decisions with data-driven insights

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in any engineering role
  • Honors degree or higher in any field
  • Python and SQL experience
  • PySpark
  • Big data frameworks – Hadoop/Kafka
  • Github experience or Git
