About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Specialist to join our team at Planet10. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in conducting investigations, analyzing data, and developing strategies to prevent and detect fraud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into irregularities, following best practices and internal processes.
  • Collate and Deliver Evidence: Gather and present compelling evidence to support internal and external proceedings, minimizing financial losses and reputational damage.
  • Support Strategic Objectives: Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by monitoring and detecting fraudulent incidents and red flags.
  • Monitor Fraud Risks: Identify and track fraud risks, potential instances, and system weaknesses that may lead to fraud or misconduct.
  • Develop Strategies: Generate business-friendly strategies and solutions to address current fraud trends and mitigate against future occurrences.
  • Oversee Fraud Awareness: Plan and implement fraud awareness campaigns and training programs to educate employees and stakeholders.
  • Measure Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting and Finance, Internal Audit, Business, or Law, and professional certification in Forensic Accounting (CFE).
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in forensic investigations, fraud prevention, and risk management, with a strong understanding of laws and regulations relevant to forensic investigations.
  • Skills: Advanced technical report writing, data analysis, and interpretation, with experience in forensic data analytics, technology, and fraud risk management.
