Fleet Diesel Mechanic Job Description

Sentinel Staffing Services is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of industrial equipment, including sweepers, tractors, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on all equipment, as per scheduled schedules and on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintain and repair a variety of industrial equipment, including Tennant Model 800, S20, 6600 & S10 Sweepers, New Holland Tractors, Bobcat Model S130 & S175, and Toyota Hilux company vehicles.
  • Conduct maintenance at various sites where equipment is being supplied.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports, job cards, and parts/stock orders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Travel approximately 7,000 km per month.
