  • Shop Operations: Supervise daily operations within the shop, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Shop Consultants to achieve collective goals.
  • Sales Initiatives: Generate and respond to sales leads, implement initiatives to boost sales.
  • Proactive Sales Calls: Conduct proactive telephone marketing/sales calls (minimum 50 per day).
  • Aftersales Support: Manage email and telephonic inquiries, offering aftersales support.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify and engage potential customers, process orders and returns.
  • Stock Management: Maintain stock levels and optimize product range with the Pick-Up Shop Manager & Shop Controller.
  • Delivery and Sales Order Completion: Oversee delivery, stock movement, and sales order completion.
  • Visual Merchandising: Enhance the shopping experience through effective visual merchandising.
  • Stock Takes and Recommendations: Ensure timely stock takes and make recommendations on surplus and slow-moving items.
  • General Shop Maintenance: Handle general shop maintenance and analyze sales reports.
  • Customer Events: Foster good working relationships with colleagues and coordinate customer events.
  • Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • Residency: Reside within Port Elizabeth or a 15-20km radius.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional South African languages are advantageous).
  • Sales Orientation: Sales-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); SAP experience is a plus.
  • Commitment and Responsibility: Quick learner with a high level of commitment and responsibility.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and/or customer service.
  • Reliability: Reliable transport and clear disciplinary, criminal, and credit records.
