Job Summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Administrator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring best practice standards regarding database management, reporting, backup and recovery, and providing assistance to business intelligence developers and users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure database systems are running efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and implement database security protocols
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Provide technical support to business intelligence developers and users
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement database solutions

Requirements

  • MCDBA and/or MCTS (SQL Administration) certification
  • 3+ years of experience in database administration or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL 2000/2005/2008
  • Experience with indexing, performance monitoring, and database tuning
  • Knowledge of database security and SQL job creation and scheduling
  • Strong experience with T-SQL scripting and SQL migration
  • Advantageous: knowledge of SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
