  2. Plan and lead therapeutic groups and individual sessions aimed at enhancing patients' life skills, coping mechanisms, and social interactions.
  3. Participate in discharge planning, working closely with patients, family members, and external agencies to ensure a smooth transition back to the community.
  4. Provide occupational therapy in various settings, adapting to patients' specific needs and circumstances.
  5. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation according to hospital policies and professional standards.
  6. Lead clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance for junior staff and students, promoting growth and development within the team.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate occupational therapist with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in mental health, particularly within an inpatient setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
