Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Coordinator to join our team at Ubuntu Resource Management. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading installations with Audio Visual/Video Conferencing equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your project management skills and experience in a dynamic environment. You will be working closely with our installation team, managing projects on-site, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage projects on-site, assigning tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  2. Leadership: Provide leadership to the installation team, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  3. Health and Safety: Ensure that proper health and safety protocols are followed on-site.
  4. Equipment Installation: Install equipment, cabling, and consumables according to solution requirements.
  5. Cable Management: Determine cable runs and install cabling according to best practice standards.
  6. Termination: Terminate equipment/cabling according to best practice standards.
  7. Tool Usage: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of tool usage.
  8. Rack Organisation: Neaten and label racks as required.
  9. Solution Implementation: Implement solutions according to technical schematics.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work together with assigned teams, following instructions and adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  11. Site Maintenance: Keep installation sites neat and clean.
  12. Pre-Installation Preparation: Prepare equipment, cabling, and consumables for installations according to solution requirements.
  13. Availability: Be available to work overtime when required and travel for installations when necessary.
  14. Training: Complete required training.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric Essential: Possess a Matric certificate.
  2. Team Leadership Experience: Have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Team Leader running an installation team.
  3. Communication Skills: Possess strong team leading capabilities and good communication skills.
  4. Pressure Handling: Be able to handle immense pressure.
  5. Time Management: Possess good time management skills.
  6. Planning Skills: Have good planning skills.
  7. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  8. Driver's License: Hold a valid Driver's license.
