Maintenance Planner Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner at AECI, you will be responsible for assisting with the compilation of maintenance budgets for approval. You will monitor and control maintenance spending against budget, raise PO requisitions and place orders for maintenance spares, and check invoices for submission to ensure timely payment to suppliers. Additionally, you will identify cost-effective maintenance practices, implement corrective actions, and ensure the upkeep of critical spares and tools. You will also participate in plant risk assessments and SHEQ initiatives, issue maintenance clearance certificates, and coordinate root cause analysis. Furthermore, you will compile periodic reports on losses, costs, and breakdown analysis, and maintain engineering master data on SAP PM. Finally, you will participate in audits and ensure adherence to company and work site safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintenance budget compilation and approval
