Maintenance Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at AECI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assist with compiling maintenance budget for approval and monitor spending against budget.
  • Inventory Management: Raise PO requisition and place orders for maintenance spares, and ensure that suppliers are paid on time.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure cost-effective maintenance, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions. Participate in plant risk assessment and SHEQ initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile periodic reports on losses, cost, and breakdown analysis, and input and maintain engineering master data on SAP PM.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Participate and motivate subordinates to maintain all SHEQ standards, and ensure that non-conformance issues are closed out timeously.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance planning and budgeting principles, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
