About the Role

The Centralized Services Engineer is a crucial member of the Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS) team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of internal and client-facing IT environments.

This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in infrastructure architecture, cloud systems, MSP tools, and automation.

The successful candidate will serve as a critical escalation point for the internal helpdesk team and drive innovation through scripting, automation, and tool integrations.

Key ResponsibilitiesEscalation and Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technical issues unresolved by the internal helpdesk team.
  • Provide expert-level support for backup remediation, ensuring critical data recovery and system integrity.
Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Lead internal user onboarding and offboarding processes to guarantee a seamless experience.
  • Manage client onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all systems, accounts, and configurations are properly set up or decommissioned.
Infrastructure Architecture and Maintenance
  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter and cloud infrastructure, focusing on Windows and Azure environments.
  • Develop and maintain backup infrastructure architecture using Veeam to ensure reliable data protection and recovery.
Backup Management
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Veeam backup solutions for internal and client environments.
  • Regularly verify backup integrity and recoverability using Veeam.
  • Escalate and remediate backup failures, minimizing downtime and data loss.
  • Optimize Veeam backup policies and strategies for efficiency, compliance, and security.
