Job Description: Director of Financial Operations

RPO Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Operations to lead our financial functions and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial planning and budgeting processes, and leading a team of finance professionals to achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  2. Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including cash flow management and financial risk assessment
  3. Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including financial statement preparation and audit coordination
  4. Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to achieve financial goals, including training and development programs
  5. Collaborate with other departments to drive financial success and improve business operations, including process improvements and cost savings initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA(SA) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a director-level position
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
