In this pivotal role, you'll drive business expansion and grow Verto's customer base in Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa. You will identify new opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and support SMEs and corporate clients in accessing our innovative payment and FX solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Lead Generation: Proactively pursue new business opportunities across key industries.
  2. Sales Cycle Management: Handle the entire sales process, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals.
  3. Client Relationship Building: Establish trust and maintain long-term partnerships with diverse clients.
  4. Collaboration with the Sales Manager: Support the sales strategy and align efforts to achieve team targets.
  5. Solution Promotion: Educate prospects on the benefits of Verto's payment and FX services, tailoring solutions to their unique needs.
  6. Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales quotas.
  7. Progress Tracking: Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track performance, and ensure accurate reporting.
  8. Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine your approach.
  9. Team Collaboration: Work with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will be accountable for:

  1. Contribution to revenue growth by acquiring new clients in South Africa.
  2. Building a robust pipeline of prospective customers within the first six months.
  3. Delivering exceptional client satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, FX, or financial services.
  2. A proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with diverse clients.
  4. Knowledge of the South African market and key industries.
  5. Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track performance.
  6. A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. An analytical mindset to understand customer needs and craft tailored solutions.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  9. RE5 Accreditation mandatory.
