Financial Management
  • Responsibilities:

Qualifications
  • Requirements:
  • A post-graduate qualification in Finance or Business Management.
  • A professional designation (CA, Attorney, Actuary) is required.

Experience
  • Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the tied agency industry.
  • 5+ years of experience managing tied agencies within financial services.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the development of a provincial or national network of financial advisers.
  • 3+ years of experience with technology utilization in financial services.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Requirements:
  • An extensive knowledge of people management, risk management, budgeting, resource development, and strategic planning.
  • An in-depth understanding of the investment, health, insurance, and financial services industry, including relevant legislation.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a thorough understanding of the financial advisory industry and its regulatory framework.
  • Proficient in adapting to and driving change, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive innovation.
