Job Title: Qualified Motor Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced motor Mechanic to fill this role. As a qualified motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities


  2. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  3. Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repairs, brake system repairs, suspension repairs, electrical system repairs, and other mechanical repairs as required.
  4. Replace faulty or worn-out vehicle parts, such as belts, hoses, filters, brake pads, spark plugs, and other components.
  5. Analyze complex automotive problems to determine the root cause of malfunctions and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
  6. Perform regular checks and maintenance on vehicle systems, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and battery performance, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  7. Accurately record repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used in our computerized system to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date vehicle records.
  8. Communicate effectively with customers, providing explanations of repairs, recommendations for preventive maintenance, and answering any questions they may have.
  9. Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while working with hazardous materials, tools, and equipment.
  10. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding industry regulations and guidelines.
  11. Maintain and properly use automotive tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition, and report any malfunctions or need for replacements.


Requirements


  2. Merseta or Red Seal qualified motor Mechanic.
  3. Automotive knowledge, including in-depth understanding of automotive systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
  4. Diagnostic expertise, including proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  5. Repair and maintenance skills, including demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency.
  6. Problem-solving skills, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex automotive problems and provide effective solutions.
  7. Attention to detail, including meticulousness and precision in conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure accuracy and quality.
  8. Communication skills, including excellent verbal communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance requirements to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Time management skills, including effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  10. Safety awareness, including strict adherence to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Continuous learning, including willingness to stay updated on advancements in automotive technology and attend training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
