As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and control all payroll functions, including data entry, processing, and payment.
  • Ensure all wage and salary-related transactions are correctly captured on Sage VIP.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Administer employee advances, banking changes, and allowances.
  • General administration of all employees, including handling remuneration queries after payday.
  • Process resignations, dismissals, and terminations, and assist HR professionals with updating clocking systems and payroll.
  • Ensure SOX compliance and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Update employee files and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Formal HR qualification.
  • 2 years of experience in the HR field or payroll.
  • Knowledge of VIP and time and attendance systems (KRONOS) or similar.
