About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at ADP. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payrolls, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payrolls, including payroll preparation, statutory changes, and maintaining the payroll system
  • Ensure compliance by contributing to the improvement of internal systems and processes, implementing payroll best practices, and mitigating potential risks to clients
  • Contribute to financial performance by creating a pleasing customer experience through efficient and effective service delivery
  • Build and maintain client relationships by treating clients with respect and professionalism
Requirements
  • Degree in Commerce or Human Resources or related qualification/experience
  • 3-5 years payroll experience or experience as an HRIS practitioner with payroll systems experience (Sage300 and/or Premier)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SA payroll tax legislation and basic knowledge of SA labour legislation
