About CAPACITI - Graduate Accelerator Programmes (CPT), a learnership designed to equip candidates with necessary skills and knowledge required to thrive in tech industry. This 6-12 month programme will cover topics including Support Services, Systems Development, Communication Networks, Data Science, Cybersecurity, AI/Machine Learning and more, preparing participants for various roles in the tech industry.

Programme Purpose

The programme aims to provide comprehensive training and development opportunities, enabling participants to enhance their employability, gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in IT.

What is Expected of Me?

To succeed in this programme, participants are expected to:

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to campus-based experiential learning and training with excellence and resilience.
  • Complete and submit assessments and projects as required throughout the programme.
  • Complete practical workplace activities on time and to a high standard.
  • Participate in all activities, tasks, and workshops.
  • Engage with professional development workshops, activities, teamwork, and reflection for personal growth.
  • Communicate with team of mentors and managers respectfully and professionally.
  • Be open to new, challenging, exciting, life-changing interventions and career activations.

This programme provides an opportunity to gain access to a wide network of field specialists and thought leaders, adding to growing understanding of the tech world and how we need to be future focused. Participants will also receive certifications that will aid their life-long journey and career in the digital economy.

Candidates who meet the following criteria can apply:

  • Provide Academic Record and certificate of Highest academic achievement.
  • No criminal record and a clear credit history.
  • Meet the minimum NQF level qualification - NQF 5 in Support Services, Systems Development, Communication Networks, Data Science, Cybersecurity, AI/Machine Learning.
  • Either self-taught or have prior IT training.
  • Competent in current technologies and desire to follow a career in IT.
  • South African Nationality.
  • Between the age range of 18 to 35 years old.
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Able to attend full-time training Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00).
  • Able to commit to the full 6–12-month Learnership Programme and committed to completing it.
  • Must be an EE candidate
