Office Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide administrative support to our team at Affinity Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office, handling various tasks, and contributing to an efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Organize and file important documents both digitally and physically, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents, utilizing MS Office skills.
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Perform general office maintenance and other administrative tasks as required, ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role is a plus, but not required.
