Job Title: IT Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join our team at Profile Personnel. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Dell servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Deploy and manage virtualized environments using Proxmox.
  • Perform routine server maintenance and updates to ensure system stability and security.
  • Manage SQL databases, including installation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Implement and maintain backup strategies for databases and other critical systems.
  • Monitor and maintain IT security systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and data encryption tools.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Proxmox and Dell server management.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL database management and administration.
  • Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
