About You:- You will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of junior chefs.
- You will be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- You will have your own reliable transport, as our location is not on a public transport route.
- Lead the pastry section of the kitchen, ensuring that all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Plan and price menus, working closely with the Head Pastry Chef to ensure that costs are managed effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and labor costs.
- Supervise and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Ensure that all staff are trained to the highest standards, with regular appraisals and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
- South African citizen.
R 60,000 - R 80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
