We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our organization.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the recording of financial transactions and reporting for F&B and hotel outlets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage productivity and payroll costs for the departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate internal and external financial audits, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present annual financial statements, quarterly board packs, and tax returns, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on financial statutory legislation and tax requirements, staying up-to-date with new developments and regulations.
  • Manage staff conditions of employment, including attendance, absenteeism, leave, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BCom Honours (CTA) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IFRS developments and accounting systems, with the ability to stay up-to-date with new technologies and innovations.
