Job Description

In order to qualify for short-list, you will need to be driven and passionate about theatre-based selling. We are ideally looking for a candidate who wants to make a long-term commitment with our client. Fluency in Afrikaans would be an advantage as well as prior knowledge and established relationships within the vascular field.

We are looking for energy, a high work ethic, reliability, and passion for theatre-based selling. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of the Vascular portfolio, maintaining existing business in the assigned territory, and scheduling and attending appointments with existing customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and financial drivers, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team member. They will also have a high level of energy and stress tolerance, and be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

The role will involve demonstrating products to Clinical personnel, completing weekly planners and activity reports, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for networking with and managing existing customers, counting and managing consignment stock, and requesting and following up on quotations.

The company offers a competitive salary, car allowance, 50% contribution to medical aid, and a provident fund. The role also includes a laptop, petrol card, cell allowance, and a monthly commission structure for OTE.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement.
  • A relevant degree or diploma is an advantage.
  • Any medical and marketing qualifications would be a definite advantage.

Experience Required

  • Medical experience is a preference and previous experience in a similar position such as Vascular or any experience in the Medical Industry would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the target group of customers will be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word is a requirement for this position.
  • Clinical and product knowledge will be a definite advantage.
  • Existing relationships with customer base will be a definite advantage.
