Job Summary

Mobalyz is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support the Head of Department Insurance Claims and Procurement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing our procurement policy across the group, ensuring compliance, achieving cost savings, and mitigating risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Database Management: Manage the supplier database (Searchlight) to ensure seamless interaction with suppliers and vendors.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including tasks such as data entry, report generation, and other duties as assigned.
  • Business Relationships: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Procurement Inquiries: Respond promptly to procurement inquiries from various departments, providing accurate information and guidance on procurement processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile detailed monthly and ad-hoc reports on spending and trends to inform business decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Governance and Training: Administer governance procedures and provide training to team members on procurement policies and procedures.
  • Procurement Oversight: Ensure overall oversight of procurement activities within the insurance sector, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
