Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Needs Analysis: Identify training needs through analysis of organizational goals, performance gaps, and employee skills.
- Data Consolidation: For different reasons and activities.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques, such as face-to-face, group discussions, role-playing, and observation.
- Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance improvement metrics, and other evaluation methods.
- ROI Feedback: Provide feedback to the business on return on investment.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct annual updates and refine training materials and methods based on feedback, changing business needs, and industry best practices.
- LMS Utilization: Utilize learning management systems platforms for online learning and virtual classrooms to deliver training efficiently.
- Coordination: Coordinate with subject matter experts, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Consolidate all regulatory compliance in preparation for the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.
- Onboarding Programs: Design and implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they integrate seamlessly into the organization.
- Employee Development Plans: Collaborate with department heads to create individualized employee development plans based on career aspirations and organizational goals.
- Diversity and Inclusion Training: Develop or source training programs focusing on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
- Global Learning Trends: Stay updated on global learning trends to introduce innovative and effective training strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- ODETD NQF 6 Qualification (Advantageous).
- Minimum 1 year in training program design: Extensive experience in content development and LMS administration.
- Vendor Management.
- Stakeholder management.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to design effective training programs.
- Compliance and Regulations with relevant industry regulations.
- Learning Technologies, from trends and best practices in learning and development, including emerging technologies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Data Analysis & Data-driven decision making.
- Collaboration across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, with emphasis on Planner and Excel.
- Attention to detail.
