Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Needs Analysis: Identify training needs through analysis of organizational goals, performance gaps, and employee skills.
  2. Data Consolidation: For different reasons and activities.
  3. Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques, such as face-to-face, group discussions, role-playing, and observation.
  4. Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance improvement metrics, and other evaluation methods.
  5. ROI Feedback: Provide feedback to the business on return on investment.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Conduct annual updates and refine training materials and methods based on feedback, changing business needs, and industry best practices.
  7. LMS Utilization: Utilize learning management systems platforms for online learning and virtual classrooms to deliver training efficiently.
  8. Coordination: Coordinate with subject matter experts, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Consolidate all regulatory compliance in preparation for the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.
  10. Onboarding Programs: Design and implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they integrate seamlessly into the organization.
  11. Employee Development Plans: Collaborate with department heads to create individualized employee development plans based on career aspirations and organizational goals.
  12. Diversity and Inclusion Training: Develop or source training programs focusing on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  13. Global Learning Trends: Stay updated on global learning trends to introduce innovative and effective training strategies.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  2. ODETD NQF 6 Qualification (Advantageous).
  3. Minimum 1 year in training program design: Extensive experience in content development and LMS administration.
  4. Vendor Management.
  5. Stakeholder management.

  1. Ability to design effective training programs.
  2. Compliance and Regulations with relevant industry regulations.
  3. Learning Technologies, from trends and best practices in learning and development, including emerging technologies.
  4. Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  7. Proficient in Microsoft suite, with emphasis on Planner and Excel.
