Key Responsibilities

The Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Developing, reviewing and agreeing on project scopes, methodologies and job specifications;
  • Producing high-quality estimates and reports;
  • Collaborating with Project Managers and other Departments to ensure timely release of information;
  • Analyzing project feedback to assess accuracy and consistency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • National Diploma in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • BSC Engineering Degree or Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Desirable);
  • Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (Desirable);
  • At least 4 years of working experience in a relevant industry environment;
  • Strong MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word skills.
