Job Summary

Kamo Placements is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to payroll administration, including preparing and providing payroll information to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll information, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including payroll records, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Communication: Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve payroll-related problems, including discrepancies and errors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with changing payroll laws and regulations, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a B degree or Advanced Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in a financial services environment, specifically in payroll administration.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.

  • Industry Awareness: Knowledge of the financial services industry and its trends and developments.
  • Quality Assurance: Ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of payroll administration.
