About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Land Surveyor to join our team in Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for conducting site surveys, measuring distances, angles, and heights, as well as interpreting data and making accurate calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys using specialized equipment such as theodolites, levels, and GPS devices.
  • Measure distances, angles, and heights, and record data accurately.
  • Analyze data and make accurate calculations to determine property boundaries, elevations, and other spatial information.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that survey data is accurate and meets project requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Land Surveying or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in land surveying, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, including trigonometry, geometry, and algebra.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
