Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Investor Reporting Specialist to join our team at TFG Finance and Advisory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on and analysing the performance of the Group for both external and internal stakeholders.

The role is primarily focused on drafting and coordinating the annual integrated report, managing investor communication and inquiries, peer analysis, writing of SENS announcements and trading updates (quarterly and/or as required), and assistance with the results presentations.

This area is continuously and proactively performing group financial analysis, developing forward-looking views, and delivering advancements through projects and initiatives, as well as managing the external reporting requirements of the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Investor Relations:
  2. Proactively monitor and review analyst reports and equity research reports as they are published to establish if the concerns and comments can be addressed through providing additional information in the IAR and/or results presentations;
  3. Analyse, compare, and communicate to all internal stakeholders, peer companies' financial results as market information becomes available;
  4. Project manage the compilation of the following documents for interim and year-end results:
  5. Finance sections of the integrated annual report;
  6. Interim and year-end results commentary;
  7. Interim and year-end results presentations;
  8. Draft commentary and results presentation for results releases and obtain sign-off thereof from Executive Management/Supervisory Board;
  9. Proactively perform external competitor analysis and benchmarking
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Retail Industry or at a Listed Entity in an Investor Relations role;
  • BCOM Degree or equivalent degree;
  • CA(SA) qualification;
  • Possess good understanding of the retail industry and investor relations;
  • Keen interest in the TFG investor relations strategy and investment case;
  • Commercially minded;
  • Ability to extract insights from internal and external data and information;
  • Strong presentation drafting capability;
  • Good understanding of the frameworks and requirements associated with the annual reporting outputs;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment with senior executives;
  • Ability to interact and influence external stakeholders and analysts;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical ability;
