Life Guard Role

You will be at the heart of our hotel, ensuring a safe environment for our guests. As a Life Guard, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the swimming pool is clean and constantly monitor swimming pool activity.
  • Verify that umbrellas are securely fixed and tidy them down when not in use for safety precautions.
  • Use appropriate rescue techniques if observing swimmers in need of assistance.
  • Monitor the swimming area for hazardous conditions, unusual activities, and swimmers struggling.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Provide emergency care and treatment until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

  • Qualified with lifeguard Licence and first aid certificate.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years hotel or club experience as a life guard.
  • Excellent swimmer with Basic Schooling.
  • Self-confidence, motivation, drive, and tenacity.
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management.
