Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating the movement of freight from farm to end user, taking into account customer needs and requirements.
  • Maintaining relationships with shipping lines and road freight facilities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Providing clients with accurate cost estimates, including shipping line charges and company agency fees.
  • Coordinating the processing of required port release papers and obtaining authorization from clients to make shipment bookings.
  • Following up on customs releases, stops, detains, and examinations where necessary.
Requirements
