We are seeking a highly skilled Shaft Timberman to join our client's team in the North West. As a key member of the operations, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies, standards, and procedures.

The successful candidate will have experience as an appointed Shaft Timberman and possess a Grade 12 Blasting Certificate for Underground Hard Rock, as well as an Onsetter Certificate. They will also have 3 years of experience in a Vertical Shaft environment, with a focus on repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities include planning, allocating resources, and managing repairs and breakdowns in accordance with operational and maintenance schedules. You will also be responsible for communicating operational updates to stakeholders to minimize delays in ore extraction and development progress.

As a leader, you will supervise teams and maintain open communication within the team to ensure effective pipe and equipment installations.
