Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Architect to help streamline our technology landscape and optimize software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Analysis: Elicit and document detailed system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • System Design and Modeling: Design and model system components, processes, and data structures to meet specified requirements.
  • System Specifications: Create system specifications, including flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation for developers and stakeholders.
  • Software Evaluation: Evaluate existing software systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze business processes and user requirements to implement system enhancements.
  • System Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and reliability of integrated systems.

Collaboration and Consistency:

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, IT, finance, planning, and operations) to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Business User Support: Work closely with business users to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Process Standardization: Ensure consistency across the group in terms of processes and data interpretation.
  • Integration Solutions: Collaborate with developers and architects to align integration solutions with overall system architecture.

System Implementation and Maintenance:

  • Technology Solution Evaluation: Be involved in the end-to-end process of evaluating and implementing technology solutions that address business challenges.
  • Integration Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and data mappings.
  • System Training: Provide training and support to end-users on system functionalities and processes.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance and troubleshooting, escalating issues to third-party service partners when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP Business One and Shopify.
  • Business Intelligence: Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Integration Technologies: Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Software Systems: Familiarity with various software systems and platforms used across O'Brien Recruitment.
