Butcher Manager

ABC Worldwide is seeking a skilled Butcher Manager to oversee the daily operations of our butcher shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of butchers, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
  • Manage a team of butchers, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the butchery
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and maintain good relationships
  • Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
  • Implement and uphold food safety standards and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to stay competitive
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Butcher Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and storage
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Certification in butchery or relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in meat industry or butcher shop management
  • Track record of meeting sales targets and managing budgets
  • Familiarity with local suppliers and market trends
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
