Job Title: Residential Property Administrator

At The Hiring House, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Property Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the buildings occupancy rate is achieved and maintain accurate records of occupancy levels.
  • Process and reconcile rental payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments to landlords.
  • Manage and resolve queries related to rental payments and property administration.
  • Coordinate with the property manager to ensure accurate and up-to-date lease information.
  • Perform credit checks on prospective students and ensure all lease information is accurate and updated.
  • Prepare and post rental invoices, ensuring accurate coding and reconciliation.
  • Manage account closures, request refunds of deposits, and arrange changes of student details.
  • Reconcile accounts, follow up on arrears, and administer exit and entry inspection recoveries and refunds.
  • Provide regular reporting on occupancy levels and vacancies to management.
Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in property administration or a related field.
  • Strong reconciliation skills, proficiency in relevant computer and software packages, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to relate to student needs, influence and guide, and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of staff.
