About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Facilities Manager at Centurion distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage facilities, contractors, and service providers staff, and all resources related to these departments at the Centurion DC site.
  2. Assist in implementing complete safety policies and committees in accordance with OHS Act.
  3. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for each role within the department.
  4. Ensure functionality of the Distributor and office blocks.
  5. Implement a proactive land and building maintenance program.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, continuously improving them.
  7. Ensure all assets are cleaned and assigned to relevant departments.
  8. Maintain all assets on site, ensuring they are in full working condition.
  9. Coordinate site Health & Safety and Compliance audits.
  10. Manage site Health and Safety compliance.
  11. Oversee overall Centurion DC site maintenance.
  12. Administer and manage the Facilities and 4Me services & facilities, providing effective and accurate reporting.
  13. Effectively manage and train staff.
  14. KPA's must be completed for all staff timeously, with indicated needs for training and development, performance management.
  15. Ensure professional and efficient customer contact.
  16. Submit monthly reports to the Department Head.
  17. Present and compile Capex Requests for Centurion DC.
  18. Manage Cost Centre accountability and responsibility.
Requirements:
  1. Tertiary Education in a similar field.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a managerial position in a distribution centre preferably.
  3. 5 years experience in a Facilities Management Environment preferably.
  4. Own vehicle.
