Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to contribute to our operations. This role will report directly to the Senior Tax Manager and is pivotal in managing our tax obligations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and evaluation of the annual statutory and US GAAP tax provisions.
  • Assist in the compilation of regional income tax filings.
  • Facilitate the preparation of regional VAT/GST returns and conduct account reconciliations.
  • Engage in regional tax considerations related to acquisitions.
  • Oversee quarterly transfer pricing calculations for EMEA entities.
  • Prepare or review quarterly income tax account reconciliations for regional operations.
  • Contribute to tax research, planning, and special projects, including assessing the implications of forthcoming tax legislation.
  • Identify and address tax risks within the assigned region.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting or Taxation with a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in taxation.
  • Familiarity with local regulations concerning statutory reporting for accounts and tax returns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve tax and non-tax challenges.
  • Proficient in local accounting principles and adept at researching accounting data.
  • Experience with NetSuite and advanced skills in MS Excel are essential.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to diverse tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a primarily remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US GAAP tax provisions.
  • Prior experience in researching and resolving domestic and international income tax matters.
