Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and correct data entry.
  • Timely processing of all financial transactions.
  • Adhere to accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Timely completion of financial and management reports.
  • Assist in drafting annual financial statements for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations.
  • Manage cash flow effectively.
  • Prepare year-end schedules for auditors.
  • Collaborate closely with auditors.
  • Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and updated working papers to support monthly management and year-end accounts.
  • Assist in budget preparation processes.
  • Provide support to the Financial Manager.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships within the accounting department and with other relevant departments/external stakeholders.
  • Be available to assist subordinates regarding financial matters, systems, and organizational procedures.
